“December Show Goes National,” an online juried exhibition of ninety-five pieces of work by sixty-two artists from fifteen states is hosted by State of the Art during December. The mix contains both novice and established work, of local and national prominence, showing a satisfying diversity of styles and intentions.

Prizes will be awarded by prize judge Kathrine Page, guest curator of the Delaware Contemporary on December 4 at 6:30pm.

ABOUT THE JUDGE:

Kathrine Page served as the Delaware Contemporary Museum’s Gretchen Hupfel Curator of Contemporary Art from 2017 to 2020. While there she organized close to 46 exhibitions, including major feature shows such as Wendell Castle and Nancy Jurs’ Then and Now (2017); group exhibition The Figure: The Indicative and the Allusive (2019); Monique Rollins’ traveling exhibition, Eastern Poesia, in China (2019); Stan Smokler and Rick Rothrock’s Origins (2019); Peter Wayne Lewis’ Beijing Booster Paintings (2019); and group exhibition of female photographers, Focal Points: Women Advancing the Aperture (2020). A painter herself, Ms. Page is now pursuing her own creative endeavors in her studio in Upstate New York.
